Anthony has enjoyed fly fishing for at least 20 years, having learned the sport on the creeks of Lake Erie in southern Buffalo, N.Y. During this time he chased after Steelhead, Brown Trout, and Bass. Anthony attended Edinboro University and continued fishing the various streams of western Pennsylvania, before moving to the Fly Fishing Paradise of Colorado in 1993.
The Colorado Springs resident has worked for a variety of Olympic sports (Wrestling, Weightlifting, Boxing, and Hockey) and the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. He started to chase after the perfect trout, mainly focusing on the South Platte River and the North Fork of the South Platte. You can often find him knee deep in Cheesman Canyon, Dream Stream, Tarryall, 11-Mile Canyon, or on the North Fork. Anthony is also capable of finding a wild turn in traveling the state to the other famous rivers of Colorado.
In his spare time, you will find him creating new patterns for the various rivers. Spend a day on the river with Anthony you will talk sports, fishing, and here other stories of interest while in pursuit of great trout.
