 Rooster spends somewhere around 300 days a year on the water guiding anglers in pursuit of trout and steelhead in the Rocky Mountains and Pacific Northwest. Between seasons he spends time offshore in Panama throwing flies at the inshore species around Coiba Island and Hannibal Bank. In Twin Bridges, MT Rooster owns and operates The Stonefly Inn and Outfitters from May 1st through November. Dan and his guides keep busy all summer putting anglers on trout on the Big Hole, Beaverhead, Madison and Jefferson Rivers. As the weather settles in he makes a transition to the coastal region of Washington in the town of Forks, where he guides for Steelhead on the Hoh, Sol Duc, Bogacheil and Calawah Rivers. Following the steelhead runs north, he operates with the m/v Adventurous out of Sitka, AK for the month of April chasing steelhead around the island archipelago of Southeast Alaska.
