Rick Hartman is a professional guide and casting instructor.  Rick has fished the South Texas Coast for Redfish and trout for 30 years, and has been guiding on the Lower Laguna Madre flats for 11 years.  Rick is sponsored by Loomis, Under Armour, Oakley, Scientific Angler, and New Water Boats, and helps with product development. He has written several articles, and helped in the filming of shows on Versus and ESPN including:  Fly Fishing the World, ESPN GOG, Field and Stream Total Outdoorsman Challenge, Scott Martin Challenge, and Fly Fishing Masters.  Rick also enjoys casting and fishing competitions and has placed in the following:  International Best of the West, (First Place Champion 2004,2005,2007.),  (Second Place casting champion 2003, 2008, 2009), and many first place finishes in casting events in California, Colorado, Arizona, and throughout the North East.  Fly Fishing Masters overall champions( 2006, 2008).   Field and Stream TOC, 2006, silver medal.   Rick can be found teaching classes and seminars at the following shows:  The Fly Fishing Show,  International Sportsmans Exposition.
