Captain Terry "Coach Duff" Duffield is a 30 year veteran flyfisher.  A steelhead bum by trade from Washington State he now puts people on the biggest bonefish on planet Earth in Hawaii.  Coach Duff served 8 years in the USMC, 7 of those in the elite 2nd Force Recon Company and is a decorated Vet of both Desert Shield/Storm and Somalia.  He coached the great game of football from Little League to High School to Junior College to a Sugar Bowl at the Division One A level.  Coach is the only FFF certified casting instructor in the Hawaiian Islands  and loves "coaching" people in arguably the toughest fly-fishery on planet.  He has been featured as both a guide and writer in Fly Rod and Reel, CATCH, This is Fly, Flyfishing in Saltwater, Japanese Flyrodder, Destination Fish,  the IGFA magazine, and on TV with Cabellas "Wanna Go Fishing" on the Outdoor Channel.  He is the flyfishing editor for Coastal Angler Magazine Hawaii.  His clients currently hold 8 places in the coveted IGFA 10 pound Club and fishes and guides the fly only.  Coach uses Scott Rods, Hatch Reels with Daiwa Saltiga backing and Monic flylines while hunting monster bones.  He runs two custom Andros Boats and is a Pro Staffer for both Andros and Evnirude Etec motors.  With a client best of 14.8 pounds on the fly, and much bigger fish hooked and lost the next fly caught world record is getting closer every day.  He lives in Kailua, Oahu with his wife Stephanie, sons Dalton and Deuce and daughter Darvin and their British Saffordshires Primo and Liilkoi.
