BOOK A TRIP!

A lifelong resident of the Texas coast, Captain Scott Null has been fishing saltwater since he could hold a rod and reel. He hooked his first redfish on the fly in the early 80’s and has been addicted to sight casting for reds ever since. As his career in law enforcement was winding down, Scott obtained his USCG license and began guiding anglers aboard his poling skiff. Upon retiring from the Houston police department in 2005, he followed his passion and began guiding full time.

Captain Scott currently guides the grass flats and marshes of the middle Texas coast in the Port O’Connor area aboard his East Cape Skiffs Fury focusing primarily on redfish and speckled trout. He has also added a Dargel 230 Kat to the fleet for running the beachfront and nearshore waters throughout the summer and fall in search of migrating pelagic species. Tarpon, king mackerel, cobia, jacks, and more are all just a short run from Port O’Connor. During January and February you’ll find him in Louisiana chasing the giant bull reds that prowl the shallow inshore waters all winter.
