After years of mountain climbing, guiding bike tours, and working as a stunt double for movies, Millie decided to trade in some of her previous passions to concentrate on the one that resulted in less frequent surgeries. In 1999 Millie moved from her hometown of Moab, Utah to Last Chance, Idaho to work at the TroutHunter fly shop.
In addition to the Henry’s Fork and surrounding Greater Yellowstone waters, Millie has fished for steelhead in British Columbia and spent countless weeks targeting bonefish, permit & tarpon in the Caribbean. Millie will be featured fishing in Los Roques, Venezuela in the next Confluence Film production. When not fishing or spending time outside with her 3 year old daughter Ella, Millie enjoys tying flies and instructing fly casting.
