From a very young age, Camille knew fly fishing would be a major focal point in her life. She grew up in a small, Montana town nestled along the banks of the Big Horn river. Then once summer hit, she migrated north to Alaska, where she and her parents operated a guided trout camp on the Nushagak River in Bristol Bay. At 18, she started guiding and continued to do so for the next 6 years. She is a fishing fanatic that has the bug to travel. She’s traveled to Brazil’s jungle for peacock bass, the Pacific’s Christmas Island for bonefish and several other worldly places in pursuit of a lifetime catch. She’s currently hosting trips with Yellow Dog Fly Fishing Adventures and working part time in their office. If she’s not sitting in a classroom, sitting at the vise, or hitting the crossfit gym, you can always find her wading the riffles of some Montana river or stream.
