Steve Hancock

Steve Hancock grew up fishing the streams,rivers, and lakes of central Pennsylvania. Fishing these waters became an addiction and he began spending alot of time on the water and worked his way into guiding on the Susquehanna River for trophy Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Musky, and Carp on fly. I began exploring other areas of the world on my quest for the ultimate fishing experience. took a vacation with some family to Key West and experienced sight fishing for the first time on the flats for Tarpon, Permit, Bonefish, Sharks, and Barracuda. From the minute I stepped onto that flats skiff to jumping my first Tarpon I entered a whole new world of fishing and was instantly transformed into a sight fishing flats fanatic. That day his life was changed!

These events lead him to make the Florida Keys to be his new home and spawned Key West Fly and Spin Fishing Charters. This is Steve's passion and he strives to do everything possible so you have the best fishing experience possible just as he did that day. Steve has earned the Federation of Fly Fishers Casting Instructor certification and he can help you achieve your flycasting goals to help you become the best caster possible.

Steve also participates in fishing industry shows and events such as Icast, and The Fly Fishing Show as a speaker/exhibitor on Florida Keys and Key West fishing opportunities and fly fishing instruction.
